Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Intellify Shopify application ("Service") operated by Dev-Guy-01 Ltd ("we", "our", "us"). By installing or using Intellify, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Intellify is a Shopify application that analyses your store's content using artificial intelligence. The Service provides:

• Product analysis — Scoring across Quality, SEO, Google Shopping, and AI Readiness categories with AI-generated titles, descriptions, SEO metadata, tags, image alt text, and variant data suggestions.
• Collection analysis — Quality and SEO scoring for custom and smart collections with AI-generated content and image alt text.
• Blog post analysis — Quality, SEO, and Content scoring with keyword analysis, AI-generated SEO metadata, and FAQ section generation.
• Page analysis — Quality and SEO scoring with AI-generated titles, content, and SEO metadata.
• Content Gap analysis — Identification of missing topics, keywords, and structural gaps across your product catalogue. Included free with any subscription.
• Brand Voice analysis — Consistency scoring of product descriptions across tone, formality, vocabulary, persuasion style, and formatting dimensions. Generates a Brand Voice Guide with do/don't lists, example phrases, and outlier identification. Included with Products subscriptions.
• Blog Writer — AI-powered blog post generation from Content Gap suggestions using Claude AI for article content and OpenAI's DALL-E for lifestyle hero images. Includes inline product chips, auto-generated excerpts, and Shopify Files CDN image upload. Generated content persists across uninstall and reinstall.
• Apply and Undo — One-click application and reversal of AI-generated content to your Shopify store on a per-field basis.
• Delta-only analysis — Only items that have changed since the last analysis run are re-processed, reducing unnecessary API usage.

2. Account & Access

• Access is provided through your Shopify admin panel. No separate account is required.
• You must have appropriate permissions on the Shopify store to install and use the app.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your Shopify admin session.
• We require read_products, write_products, read_content, write_content, read_files, and write_files access scopes to analyse your content, apply AI-generated changes, and upload Blog Writer images to your store.

3. Subscription & Billing

Intellify uses modular billing. You subscribe independently to each content type:

• Products — $19.99/month (500 products, 3×/week) to $149.99/month (unlimited products, daily runs). Includes Brand Voice analysis at no extra cost.
• Collections — $4.99/month (250 collections, 3×/week) to $29.99/month (unlimited, daily runs).
• Blog Posts — $5.99/month (100 posts, 3×/week) to $37.99/month (unlimited, daily runs).
• Pages — Free tier available (15 pages, 1 run/month). Paid tiers from $3.99/month (50 pages, 3×/week) to $7.99/month (unlimited, daily runs).
• Content Gaps — Free with any active subscription. Uses 2 runs/month from your Products allocation (or 2 standalone runs if only other modules are subscribed).

All billing is processed through Shopify's subscription system. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice. Prices are in USD and may be subject to change with 30 days' notice.

4. Monthly Run Limits

Each subscription tier includes a set number of analysis runs per calendar month. When your monthly limit is reached, further analysis runs are blocked until the next billing cycle. Run limits reset on the first of each month. Unused runs do not carry over.

5. Free Tier

The Page analysis free tier (up to 15 pages, 1 analysis run per month) is provided at no cost. Content Gap analysis is also provided free with any active subscription. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free tiers with 30 days' notice.

6. Refund Policy

As billing is handled through Shopify, refunds are subject to Shopify's billing policies. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@intellai.co.uk and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process content that violates applicable laws or Shopify's terms of service.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the scoring algorithms or AI prompts.
• Use automated tools to excessively call the Service beyond normal usage patterns or circumvent monthly run limits.
• Resell or redistribute analysis results, AI-generated content, Brand Voice reports, or Content Gap reports as a service to third parties.
• Submit intentionally misleading, harmful, or illegal content for AI analysis.

8. AI-Generated Content

• Content generated by the AI (including titles, descriptions, SEO metadata, tags, image alt text, FAQ sections, variant data suggestions, Brand Voice guides, Content Gap recommendations, and Blog Writer articles and images) is provided as suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before applying it to your store.
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will improve search rankings, sales, AI agent discoverability, or any specific business metric.
• AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies, irrelevant suggestions, or tone inconsistencies. Always review suggestions before applying.
• You retain full ownership of content applied to your Shopify store.
• The Undo feature allows you to revert any applied change to its original value. We recommend reviewing applied content promptly and using Undo if any suggestion is not appropriate for your store.

9. Brand Voice & Content Gap Reports

• Brand Voice consistency scores, dimension breakdowns, voice profiles, and guides are generated by AI analysis and represent the AI's assessment of your product descriptions. They are advisory in nature.
• Content Gap reports identify potential topics and keywords based on AI analysis. The suggestions may not be appropriate for every store or industry.
• Reports are generated on-demand and stored for your review. They are replaced each time you run a new analysis.

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key points:

• We do not collect customer data, order data, or financial data.
• Store content is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis. Anthropic does not train on commercial API data.
• Blog Writer image prompts are sent to OpenAI's DALL-E API for hero image generation. OpenAI does not train on API data.
• All data for your store is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app.

11. Intellectual Property

• The Intellify application, scoring algorithms, AI prompts, and interface design are the intellectual property of Dev-Guy-01 Ltd.
• Your store content remains your property at all times.
• AI-generated content, once applied to your store, becomes part of your store content and is owned by you.
• Brand Voice guides and Content Gap reports are generated for your use and may be used internally within your business.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
• AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes.
• Scores will result in improved search rankings, sales performance, or AI agent discoverability.
• Brand Voice or Content Gap analysis will accurately reflect your brand or market positioning.
• The Service will be compatible with all Shopify themes, apps, or configurations.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dev-Guy-01 Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities resulting from applied AI-generated content.
• Negative impact on search rankings or AI agent discoverability from applied changes.
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content, scores, or reports.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dev-Guy-01 Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content applied to your Shopify store using the Service.

15. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect your subscription, including changes to pricing, features, run limits, or free tier availability.

16. Termination

• You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive use of the Service.
• Upon termination, all stored data for your store is permanently deleted.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
