Intellify is a Shopify app that uses Claude AI to analyse and score your store content — products, collections, blog posts, and pages. It identifies weaknesses in data quality, SEO, Google Shopping readiness, and AI commerce readiness, then generates optimised content you can apply with one click. Additional features include Content Gap analysis (finding topics your blog doesn't cover), Brand Voice analysis (scoring how consistent your product descriptions sound), and Blog Writer (generating full blog posts with AI images from content gap suggestions).
Install directly from the Shopify App Store and open it from your Shopify admin panel. No configuration is required — your store data is fetched automatically via the Shopify API.
No. Intellify never modifies your store data without your explicit action. After analysis, you review AI-generated suggestions and choose which to apply using the Apply button. Every applied change can be undone with a single click. You can also use the Copy buttons to manually paste content into Shopify's editor.
Intellify works with all Shopify plans — Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Plus. There are no Shopify plan restrictions.
Intellify uses Claude by Anthropic. Claude excels at understanding product context, generating natural-sounding copy, and following structured output formats reliably. Different analysis types use different Claude model tiers optimised for their specific task.
For each product, Intellify generates:
After AI content is generated, each score bar shows both the current score and a projected score — what the score would become if you applied all AI suggestions. This lets you evaluate the potential improvement before committing any changes to your store.
Each product card includes a collapsible Variant Details section showing all variants with their SKU, barcode, weight, and HS code status. Missing data is highlighted in red. AI-suggested weights and HS codes appear in amber. When you click Apply, the cells turn green to confirm the changes were pushed to Shopify. Every apply action can be undone.
Collections are scored on two categories:
Yes. Both custom and smart (automated) collections are fetched and scored. AI-generated suggestions can be applied to either type via the Shopify API.
Optimised title, description, SEO title, meta description, and image alt text. Each field has its own Apply/Undo button.
Blog posts are scored on three categories:
For each blog post, AI identifies the primary keyword and supporting keywords, then calculates keyword density. This helps you understand which search terms each post targets and whether keyword usage is optimal for ranking.
Yes. AI generates relevant FAQ questions and answers for each blog post. These can be added to your posts as structured FAQ sections, which search engines can display as rich snippets in search results — increasing visibility and click-through rates.
Blog Writer generates full, publish-ready blog posts from Content Gap suggestions. Click "Generate Blog" on any content gap and Intellify creates a complete article using Claude AI, with a DALL-E lifestyle hero image, inline product chips, and an auto-generated excerpt. The post is published directly to your Shopify blog.
Yes. Product prices in blog posts are formatted using your store's currency setting. Over 30 currencies are supported, including GBP, USD, EUR, AUD, CAD, JPY, and more.
Generated blog posts and their images persist across uninstall and reinstall. Images are stored server-side and re-uploaded to Shopify's Files CDN on reinstall. If you delete a blog post from Shopify, you can re-add it from within Intellify with all images intact.
If a generated blog post is deleted from your Shopify blog, Intellify detects this and shows a "Deleted from Store" badge. Click "Re-add to Store" to republish the post with its original content and images. Stale Shopify CDN URLs are automatically cleared and images are re-uploaded.
Blog Writer is available to all users with an active Blog Posts subscription. It uses Content Gap suggestions as the source for article topics, so having at least one product analysis completed provides the best results.
Pages are scored on two categories:
All published Shopify pages — About, Contact, FAQ, Shipping Policy, and any other static pages you have created. Draft (unpublished) pages are excluded from analysis.
Yes, there is a free tier: up to 15 pages with 1 analysis run per month at no cost. For larger stores or more frequent runs, paid plans start at $3.99/month (50 pages, 3×/week) or $7.99/month (unlimited pages, daily runs).
Content Gap analysis compares your product catalog against your blog posts and pages to find topics your content doesn't cover. It answers the question: are you writing about what you sell? AI identifies specific product categories, use cases, and keywords that lack supporting content, then suggests article titles and descriptions to fill those gaps.
Yes. Content Gap analysis is always free for all users. It uses data already collected from your other analyses, so there is no additional AI cost.
Each gap comes with a suggested article title and description. Use these as a content calendar — write blog posts or create pages that cover the missing topics. Filling content gaps improves your store's SEO by creating internal linking opportunities and topical authority around your product categories.
It works best when you have run at least one product analysis. Blog and page data enriches the comparison, but the core analysis compares your product catalog against any existing content. The more content types you have analysed, the more accurate the gap identification.
Brand Voice analysis scores how consistent your product descriptions sound across your entire catalog. Inconsistent tone — where some products sound casual and others sound corporate — hurts trust for both human shoppers and AI shopping agents. The analysis samples up to 150 product descriptions and scores consistency across 6 dimensions.
For each of the 6 dimensions, AI generates a specific, actionable suggestion for how to improve consistency toward a perfect score. Tips reference actual patterns found in your descriptions — for example, "Switch the 12 products using third-person to second-person 'you' to match the 138 that already do." If a dimension already scores 100, the tip confirms no changes are needed.
A personalised guide generated from your majority voice pattern. It includes: a summary of your detected voice profile, a Do/Don't list (4–8 items each), example phrases that exemplify your brand tone, and tone words (5–10 adjectives that capture your brand's feel). Use it as a reference when writing new descriptions or briefing copywriters.
Outliers are products whose descriptions deviate significantly from your majority brand voice. The analysis identifies up to 20 outliers, each showing: the product title, which dimension it deviates on, severity (high/medium/low), the specific issue, and a suggestion for how to bring it in line with your brand voice.
No. Brand Voice analysis is included with any active Products plan at no extra cost. It analyses product descriptions that have already been fetched as part of your Products subscription.
Intellify tracks when each item was last updated in Shopify using the updated_at timestamp. When you run a new analysis, only items that have changed since the last run are re-fetched and re-scored. If you have 2,000 products but only 50 changed, only those 50 are sent to Claude AI — dramatically reducing analysis time and cost.
Yes. Use the "Clear Data" option from the Admin page to reset all analysis data for your store, then run a fresh analysis. This re-processes every item from scratch.
Yes. Delta detection works identically for products, collections, blog posts, and pages. Each content type tracks its own timestamps independently.
Each plan tier includes a set number of analysis runs per month. Standard tiers include 3 runs per week (12/month). Unlimited tiers include daily runs (30/month). Run limits reset each billing cycle.
Yes. Each content type (Products, Collections, Blog Posts, Pages) has its own independent run counter. Using a product analysis run does not consume a collection run.
You will not be able to start a new analysis run for that module until the next billing cycle. Your existing scores, AI-generated content, and apply/undo functionality remain fully accessible. You can upgrade to a higher tier at any time to get more runs immediately.
No. Delta-only detection means subsequent runs only process items that have changed since the last run. If nothing changed, the run completes instantly with near-zero AI cost. Daily runs are cost-effective even on stores with thousands of products.
Each AI-generated field has its own Apply button. Clicking it pushes that specific suggestion to your Shopify store via the API. You can apply individual fields (e.g., just the SEO title) without touching the rest of the product. For variants, you can apply weights, HS codes, or titles in bulk across all variants at once.
Yes. Every applied change records the original value. Click the Undo button next to any applied field to instantly revert it to the original Shopify value. Undo is available until the next analysis run overwrites the stored original values.
Yes. Apply and Undo work for products, collections, blog posts, and pages. Each content type has its own set of applicable fields including titles, descriptions, SEO metadata, tags, and (for products) variant data.
When AI content has been generated, each score bar shows both your current score and a projected score — the score you would achieve if you applied all AI suggestions. This lets you evaluate the potential improvement before making any changes to your live store.
Agentic commerce is the emerging model where AI shopping agents — not just humans — browse, compare, and purchase products on behalf of consumers. Major platforms including ChatGPT, Google AI, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, and Meta AI now offer product recommendations and in-chat purchasing. For your products to appear in these results, they need structured, complete data.
Agentic Storefronts is Shopify's feature that allows AI agents to browse your store's product catalogue, check availability, and complete purchases programmatically. It was introduced in Shopify's Winter '26 Edition and is designed to let your store participate in AI-driven commerce without any custom development.
In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels and look for Agentic storefronts. For eligible stores, the feature is available to activate there. Intellify then helps ensure your product data meets the quality standards these AI agents expect.
AI shopping agents rely on structured product data to make accurate recommendations. The key signals include:
Intellify's AI Commerce Score checks all of these factors and tells you exactly what each product is missing.
Intellify uses modular billing — you subscribe to each content type independently. There are no bundles and no "all-in-one" plans. Only want to analyse products? Subscribe to Products and leave everything else out. Want to add collections later? Add that plan when you're ready. You can mix and match any combination:
Yes. Page analysis includes a free tier: up to 15 pages with 1 analysis run per month at no cost. Content Gap analysis is also completely free. For products, collections, and blog posts, you choose a paid plan that fits your store size.
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, add, or remove any content type plan at any time from the Plan page inside the app. Changes take effect immediately through Shopify's billing system.
All billing goes through Shopify's built-in subscription system. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice. Intellify never handles your payment information directly.
Intellify reads your store's products, collections, blog posts, pages, and associated metadata (titles, descriptions, images, tags, SEO fields, variant data). It does not access customer data, orders, or financial information. The required Shopify permissions are read_products, write_products, read_content, write_content, read_files, and write_files (for Blog Writer image uploads to Shopify's Files CDN).
Analysis results, scores, and AI-generated content are stored securely on Azure-hosted servers. Your original Shopify data is fetched on-demand via the Shopify API and is not permanently stored beyond what's needed for analysis tracking and undo functionality.
Your store data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis and content generation. Blog Writer image prompts are sent to OpenAI's DALL-E API for hero image generation. No data is shared with any other third party. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
When you uninstall Intellify, all stored analysis data for your store is deleted within 48 hours. Your Shopify store data is unaffected — any changes you applied remain on your store unless you manually revert them in Shopify.
Email us at support@intellai.co.uk and we'll respond within 24 hours.
