2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to provide the Intellify service:
- Content analysis — Fetching and analysing your store's products, collections, blog posts, and pages to generate quality and SEO scores.
- AI content generation — Sending content to Anthropic's Claude AI API to generate optimised titles, descriptions, SEO metadata, tags, image alt text, FAQ sections, and variant data suggestions.
- Blog Writer — Generating full blog posts using Claude AI and creating lifestyle hero images using OpenAI's DALL-E API. Generated images are stored on our servers and uploaded to Shopify's Files CDN on your store.
- Content Gap analysis — Comparing your store's content coverage against competitor and industry benchmarks to identify missing topics, keywords, and structural gaps.
- Brand Voice analysis — Analysing product descriptions across multiple dimensions (tone, formality, vocabulary, persuasion style, formatting) to score consistency and generate a Brand Voice Guide.
- Score storage — Storing analysis results, scores, AI-generated summaries, and Brand Voice reports so you can review them over time.
- Apply and Undo — Applying AI-generated content to your Shopify store when you explicitly request it, and restoring original values when you undo changes.
- Billing — Managing your subscription and billing through Shopify's billing system.
3. AI Processing
Your store content is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI API for analysis and content generation. This includes:
- Product analysis — Product titles, descriptions, images, variants, tags, and metadata are sent in batches of up to 5 items for scoring and content generation.
- Collection, blog post, and page analysis — Titles, descriptions, content, and SEO metadata are sent in batches for scoring and content generation.

- AI summaries — Aggregated health data (score distributions, common issues) is sent to generate personalised overview summaries for each content type.
- Blog Writer — Product titles, descriptions, and content gap topics are sent to Claude AI for article generation. Image prompts (derived from article content) are sent to OpenAI's DALL-E API for hero image generation. No customer data is included.
